Hi – I built this site because I found that after a lifetime of sports injuries, which led to many years of learning, I had to change. Tai Chi, Qi Gong and goodness knows what else, helped a great deal, along with core strengthening exercise. I’d kind of got the hang of things in regard to good heath practices by now but had lost a lot of good friends. So, I felt it was time to share what I had learned.

Still playing cricket and sometimes grade matches well into my fifties despite broken bones, back problems, car accidents and some mental health issues took management. Being a highly trained and experienced hypnotherapist, coach, counsellor and trainer helped with the psychological side of health management and injury recovery.

But then, at 62, I had a major heart attack when I wasn’t looking. I had to learn a new set of exercises and ways of living (my work meant a very sedentary lifestyle). It took a little time but we are built to heal – and heal I did. Now here I am, on no medication, 68 years old and feeling pretty great.

This site is a playful way to share what I’ve learned, what I know works and also to offer some encouragement for those who think it’s all over after 60!
